2 to 3 year old Area

Return to main page

What is this area like?

This area is in the middle of the building and has a large mezzanine play area, complete with stairs up and a slide down. It has small bays containing activities for all of the areas of learning, which appeals to young children and encourages them to

concentrate on their play

The children can free-flow around the areas and with adult support they access new experiences. They also use this room to eat their snack. The area has low level windows into the baby area so they can communicate with the younger children. It has a low partition into the foundation area so the children can be involved with the older children too.
